PeptideCensus (“we”) runs peptidecensus.com. This policy describes what information the site handles and what happens to it. Short version: we collect very little, we sell none of it.

What we collect

• Contact form submissions — name, email address, topic, and message, sent to our mailbox so we can reply. We keep correspondence as long as needed to handle it.
• Server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and operations, retained per the host’s defaults.
• Cookies — the site sets only functional cookies by default. A consent banner (CookieAdmin) manages any non-essential cookies and honors your choice.

What we don’t do

• No user accounts, no newsletters without an explicit opt-in, no sale or rental of personal information — ever.
• No analytics profiles tied to your identity. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this policy will be updated first.

Outbound links and affiliates

Links to vendors and laboratories may be affiliate or referral links (see our affiliate disclosure). When you leave this site, the destination’s own privacy practices apply — third parties may set their own cookies for attribution. We do not pass them your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can browse without submitting anything. To ask what we hold about you, or to have correspondence deleted, email hello@peptidecensus.com — we honor deletion requests unless a legal obligation requires retention. Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK GDPR and Canada’s PIPEDA), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
