CJC-Hexa is a pre-mixed vial of CJC-1295, a long-acting GHRH analogue, and hexarelin, a potent GH-releasing peptide. No clinical trial has studied the blend.
CJC-1295 is a modified GRF(1-29) that ConjuChem built in 2005 to bind serum albumin and stay in circulation for days (Jetté et al., 2005); in healthy adults its half-life was 5.8 to 8.1 days (Teichman et al., 2006). Hexarelin is a GHRP-6 analogue that also raises prolactin, ACTH and cortisol in humans (Arvat et al., 1997).
The rationale for pairing them comes from a 1994 study in which GHRH amplified the growth hormone response to hexarelin in both young and elderly men (Arvat et al., 1994). That study used native GHRH given intravenously, not CJC-1295, and as of October 2026 ClinicalTrials.gov lists no registered trial of CJC-1295 combined with hexarelin.
Neither CJC-1295 nor hexarelin is an FDA-approved drug, and WADA’s 2026 Prohibited List bans both at all times under section S2.2.4.
WADA names CJC-1295 among GHRH analogues and examorelin (hexarelin) among GH-releasing peptides, in a non-Specified class prohibited in and out of competition (WADA). Drugs@FDA holds no application for hexarelin, and CJC-1295’s development stopped short of approval; a ConjuChem study in HIV patients with visceral obesity is listed as terminated (NCT00267527).
This blend carries two identity problems. The first is the usual one for any blend: each peptide needs its own identity and quantity result. The second is specific to CJC-1295. A 2010 doping-lab analysis found a product marketed as CJC-1295 contained a 29-amino-acid peptide consistent with the version lacking the albumin-binding group (Henninge et al., 2010). A certificate should show which form the vial actually contains.
Check a batch’s published result before trusting its label. Recent certificates are on our latest tests page, and Janoshik’s public results database lets you look up a specific test.
